The Internet, as we know it, so the “web” turns 30 years. Here is a video form the CERN you have been a driving force behind the developments of the TyperTextTransferProtocol and the WorldWideWeb aka the internet (even so that consists of much more then just the “www”).
There is even a party today, in a few hours “Celebrating 30 years of the web with Sir Tim Berners-Lee”, so why not watching the lifestream at 18:00 CET !
Generally this blog will collect information how our “interweb” gets regulated with laws like the #GDPR, the #Article13, a.s.o. – that is actually sad in this 30th year of the net, so stay tuned for updates within the next days and/or weeks.
P.S.: Just today, on this very day, we got our fiber cable connected (pictured above), what a coincidence… This has to mean something! Yeah, right… 😉 This connection alone is probably much faster then the whole internet back in 1989.
